These terms explain how BeHere works and what you agree to when you use the platform, whether you are a donor or a charity partner. Please read them before using BeHere.
BeHere is a platform that connects donors with verified charities. When you make a donation through BeHere, you receive an experience in return: a session run by the charity that lets you see your contribution in action. BeHere is a donation platform, not a ticketing or booking service. The experience is what you receive in return for your donation, not a product sold to you.
BeHere is open to anyone aged 18 or over. By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are permitted to make donations in your country of residence.
When you donate to an experience on BeHere, 90% of your contribution goes directly to the charity running the session. BeHere retains 10% as a platform fee to cover operations, payment processing, and support. The donation amount for each experience is set by the charity. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. BeHere does not store your payment card details.
Each experience has a cancellation window set by the charity, typically 24, 48, or 72 hours before the session. If you cancel within that window, you are eligible for a full refund. If you cancel after the window has passed, your donation is retained by the charity.
The cancellation policy for each experience is clearly displayed before you confirm your donation. Refunds are processed within 5 to 7 business days and returned to your original payment method.
If a session is cancelled by the charity, you will receive a full refund automatically.
Every organisation listed on BeHere is reviewed against official charity registers before being approved. BeHere reserves the right to remove any organisation that no longer meets our verification standards or that fails to meet the quality of experience we expect for donors.
Organisations applying to BeHere agree to provide accurate registration details and to run the experiences they list to a reasonable standard. BeHere takes no responsibility for the conduct or content of individual sessions. Charities set their own cancellation policies within the ranges BeHere provides.
BeHere charges no listing fee. The 10% platform fee applies only to completed donations.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us at hello@joinbehere.com immediately. BeHere reserves the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms or that are used fraudulently.
BeHere acts as a platform connecting donors with charities. We are not responsible for the conduct of charities, the quality or safety of individual sessions, or for any injury, loss, or damage that occurs during an experience. By attending a session, you accept the risks involved in participating in the activity described.
BeHere's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant experience.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email. Continued use of BeHere after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Barcelona.
